CEO Andrew Penkethman presented at RIU Explorers Conference giving an update on Ardea’s Goongarrie Nickel Cobalt Project within their Kalgoorlie Nickel Project - recent upgrade to Resources, the optimal location, minerology.

Maiden Scandium resource, optimal metallurgy for Lithium Ion Battery market to service global low carbon future. He also outlined work in progress including converting resource to reserves and also Ardea’s Gold and Nickel Sulphide exploration in WA.

CEO Andrew Penkethman and Executive Director Ian Buchhorn discuss the Kalgoorlie Nickel Project in detail, starting with the Resource upgrade: 826Mt at 0.7% Ni and 0.05% Co, including the Goongarie Nickel Cobalt Resource of 826Mt at 0.7% Ni and 0.05% Co and the hi grade plus 1% component of 60Mt at 1.0% Ni and 0.07% Co and maiden scandium resource of 74Mt at 35ppm scandium.

They also discuss the project characteristics and optimal properties for the global move to a low carbon future. Goongarrie Goethite ore with simple continuous geometry 40-100m thick, 25km strike length, and up to 100m wide, offers pure feedstock. Upside is further satellite resources currently underway, and upside is the Sc and Mn for ideal material for Lithium Ion Battery. Ian and Andrew also discuss the Rare Earth potential within KNP and Ardea’s Gold and Nickel Sulphide exploration.

Matt also discusses the Exploration History and current best practice work. Matt and Andrew discuss the major point of difference with other Nickel Laterite deposits, including its unique Goethite mineralogy of the goongarrie ore being superior for processing compared to other laterite deposits. KNP deposit is continuous over 25km strike, up to 100m wide, and thicknesses of 40-100m ore. Optimal for open pit mining and processing. Strong support for Ardea’s project from traditional owner, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and other stakeholders add to the project strength.
